We are excited to bring you the second of this year’s STAR Backyard Trail Events.

The STAR Bckyard Holmbury St Mary

This is a 3 hour event, it will start at 6.00pm and finish at 9.00pm. You simply need to complete as many 5km laps as you can in the allocated time, it’s as easy as that!

No chip timing, just a number to wear, we will place a band on you wrist to signify each lap completed.

Please be aware that this is a headtorch event so caution will need to be taken when navigating yourself around the course. For this event, the route will take you up and out of Felday Glade in an anti clockwise direction heading up to the summit of Holmbury Hill. A gentle but long ascent to start with then a levelling out mid route followed by a short steep track that will lead you to the top. From there it’s pretty much downhill for a good 2km section, then another short ascent taking you back to the village hall to register your lap.

There is Free but fairly limited parking at the village hall car park and in and around the village. We highly encourage you to car share as much as possible

The event starts at 6.00pm and finish at 9.00pm, please make sure you arrive latest 5.45pm.

The route may change slightly due to the weather but it will be fully marked on the day.
